Musical origins: I began to play the trumpet when I was 7. My mother also plays the trumpet in an unprofessional wind orchestra in my hometown, which my grandfather also played in, as well as my  great-grandfather, so it was not a question.
What inspired you to audition for TŌN? I have an old friend who plays in the orchestra, he is a Hungarian trumpet player—just like me.
Favorite piece to play: Currently Mahler’s First Symphony is my favorite, as I just performed it a few weeks ago. My favorite piece is always what I’m playing.
Favorite composer fact: When Bartók rehearsed his Concerto for Orchestra the trumpeter accidentally played the cue of the violin in his music and the composer liked that so much, he wrote that melody in the trumpet music too. That part is super hard.
Favorite musical memory: I had the opportunity to play Kodály’s Háry János with the company of National Theatre of Győr in the Hungarian Opera House, where the piece was premiered. The piece is very challenging for trumpets.
Which composer would have had the best social media: Franz Liszt; he was the first superstar
Favorite fact about your instrument: Playing on a brass instrument has a good effect on blood circulation
Favorite non-musical hobby or activity: Traveling and having fun with friends
Favorite book: Harry Potter
Time travel destination: 18th century, because of Bach and Haydn
