Hometown: Oakland, CA
Alma mater: San Francisco Conservatory of Music
Musical origins: I was 12, entering middle school, when my mom signed me up for band. I thought I was way too cool for it at first, but then I couldn’t get enough. I started on Baritone/Euphonium and realized I wanted to play jazz and orchestral music so I taught myself the Trombone for the first year.
