Favorite composer fact: In WWII, Shostakovich wanted to participate in the war by joining the military, but he did not qualify due to poor eyesight. So he became a firefighter instead.
Favorite fact about your instrument: Compared to the other woodwind instruments, the clarinet is a relative newcomer to the orchestra. It did not see regular use until the end of the 18th century.
Favorite non-classical musician: Paul Desmond
Musical guilty pleasure: K-pop
Best song to play on repeat: “I Will” by The Beatles
