What is your earliest memory of classical music? My earliest memory is when I heard the violin play Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star when I was four years old.

When did you realize you wanted to pursue music as a career? When I got into the Middle School attached to the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing

Which composer do you feel you connect with the most? Mozart

What is your favorite piece of music, and why do you love it? All Mozart music, because Mozart’s music always makes me feel joyful.

What has been your favorite experience as a musician? Playing alongside great musicians

Favorite non-classical musician or band Chinese singer Li Jian

If you could play another instrument, what would it be? Probably flute

If you weren’t a musician, what would you be doing? If I wasn’t a musician, I would want to be a surgeon.

What is your favorite place you’ve traveled to and why? Warsaw, because I had many happy memories there.

Piece of advice for a young classical musician: Listen more and practice hard.
